So what's the suspected lead cause? It's right there in paragraph number two:
Friends said 23 year-old Richard Poplawski feared the Obama administration was poised to ban guns.
Gosh. Saying that is like saying "The killer believed that the sky was blue." Heck, Obama is the Salesman of the Year at many gun shops. It's darn near impossible to purchase an AR-15 right now demand is so high.
And look at the guns he likes: AK-47. .357 Magnum. Wow. What a wacko.
This second article is not much better, again leading with the statement that he "was also convinced that the government wanted to take away his guns and his freedom."
A little further down we learn a few more things about this guy:
- He was expelled from high school;
- He was dishonorably discharged from the Marines during basic training;
- His girlfriend left him soon thereafter;
- He had a failed internet talk show;
- At 22, he's living with his mother and grandmother; his father is not involved in his life;
- He lost his job earlier this year.
But what's the reason he killed the cops? He believed Obama wanted to take his guns away.
