Collusion between Sony and Anti-VIrus Vendors

Sony is now releasing CDs that install a root-kit (root-kit==bad) on MSWindows boxes. It has come to light that this root-kit gets by AV and Spyware scanners because Sony worked closely with AV vendors to ensure that their root-kit would not be tagged as spyware.

Symantec and MicroSoft are among those who allowed Sony to own your computer.

I would say switch to Linux, as Apple still keeps a lot of their code secret, and they themselves are a big proponent of Digital Restriction Management (DRM).
